Research Approaches In Investigation Of Teacher Stress

Summary:  The article focuses on presentation of different research approaches in investigation of teacher stress. The author examines the available literature and .nds the majority of instruments used in this area to be based on self-description. She describes the approaches used to de. ne the levels of stress experienced by teachers and the sources of this stress, to investigate teachers’ coping with stress and to assess the consequences of teacher stress. The author ends by setting the guidelines for future investigation of teacher stress.
