Sodobna PEDAGOGIKA – Journal of Contemporary Educational Studies
Journal of Contemporary Educational Studies – Sodobna pedagogika publishes mostly scientific, research-based articles that cover theoretical and empirical approaches to the pedagogy, education and closely related academic disciplines. It was founded in 1880 as journal Popotnik, since 1950 it has been published under its current title.
Open access to the Journal of Contemporary Educational Studies
The Journal of Contemporary Educational Studies (Sodobna pedagogika) provides open access to published articles in Slovene and English language. The primary purpose of open access is to make the results of publicly funded research immediately available without subscription or copyright restrictions. Open access to results in the form of publications and data is part of open science. Contributions are published under a Creative Commons Attribution and Sharing under Equal Terms license (abbreviation CC-BY-SA).

Journal of Contemporary Educational Studies – Sodobna pedagogika publishes four issues per year. All articles published in the journal are blind peer reviewed and discussed by an international editorial board. The journal is published by the Slovenian Association of Educationalists
