Reflections From Quarantine: Planning and Implementation of Remote Preschool Activities Tadeja Zupanc
Summary: In this article we present how we planned and implemented remote preschool activities for children of the second age group in the private kindergarten Fridolin in Ljubljana during the first wave of the epidemic and the closure of kindergartens in the period from March to May 2020. The activities were planned and implemented in a way that followed and implemented the goals and objectives of the Preschool Curriculum (1999), being careful to achieve the objectives of the different areas of the Curriculum. Some of the activities are presented in more detail in the paper, and in the concluding part we describe some of the difficulties we encountered more frequently in our distance working: in particular technical difficulties which prevented us from carrying out some activities smoothly, as well as difficulties in maintaining the children‘s attention and motivation.
