Reform changes in the educational system of the Slovak Republic

Summary:  The contribution illustrates the process of reform changes in the educational system of the Slovak Republic since 1989, with the emphasis on primary and secondary schools. Basic statistical data, the analysis of reform changes in the fi eld of administration and fi nancing of the school system, as well as the conception documents for its development are presented. Besides, the contribution deals with the problem of the school-leaving exam and the curriculum reform based on the project of the school system development (Info-age).
